Reason #5: Wedding Stamps

I mailed the invitations to the wedding today, complete with their very special wedding stamps.  The envelopes may be flimsy and the invitations may be slightly crooked, but dangit, the stamps are festive.

Reason #4: Prince Edward Island

 

I was in a somewhat cranky mood when I got home from work this afternoon, until I reached into my mailbox to find the Prince Edward Island Visitor's Guide.  It is impossible to be cranky and think about a honeymoon on Prince Edward Island at the same time.  Can't be done.

Reason #3: Lazy Sunday Snowflakes

I spent part of my lazy Sunday relaxing on the couch, just watching the snowflakes drift from the sky like they had all day to hit the ground.  Perfection.

Reason #2: Bows

I'm dress shopping with my mom and my sister today. My sister and I have a Bridesmaid Pact:
1) The bride shall, under no circumstances, choose a dress with a bow on the butt.
2) The bride shall, under no circumstances, require the bridesmaids to wear sunhats or carry parasols.

Number 2 is a no-brainer, but I'm wondering if I can wiggle a little with the Lawyer-to-Be on number 1. The day will be one for the record books, no doubt...my only hope is that it isn't the books of criminal records.

Reason #1: Daisies

Daisies are my favorite. They're not as elegant as roses and not as exotic as orchids, but they're simple and cheerful and enduring. Apparently I have a thing for weeds. These ones look just as good this morning as they did last week when The Boy brought them for Valentine's Day. (I couldn't resist getting a shot with the diamond as well...154 days)
